WILL of Jacob Junior COX
He signed a will on 24 Jun 1798. He had an
estate probated on 31 Jul 1798 in Baltimore Co.,
MD.
Baltimore County MD 1798 there is a six
superimposed on the 9. So I don't know if he wrote the will in 1768
or 1798 the 24th day of June
I Jacob Cox of Baltimore county MD being weak
in body but perfect mind and memory Thanks be given unto God
therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body I leave to my
beloved wife(CASIAH) Cox 1/2 and to the child my wife is now big
with be it son or daughter 1/2 if the child dyes(sic) without issue
I give to the rest of my children all of my estate (if the child has
issue each of these children receive one shilling)

Based on this
will alone and the dates - We might assume that this is somehow
related to the John Boren / Boring who was born in 1755 in
Baltimore, Maryland and served for his two uncles, Richard and
Robert Davis in the Revolutionary war.
Jacob had two
daughters, per the will above, one of them married a BORING
and another married a Davis. It seems reasonable to ASS-U-ME
that since both John and Rebecca were born circa the mid 1750's that
John married Rebecca Cox sometime before the revolutionary was in
1776 (John would have been 21). Having married Rebecca and
Rebeccas' sister Elizabeth having married a Davis would have "Technically" made him related to the Davis
Family.
