  Genealogy is my hobby and I generally keep a very low profile,  But this election year is probably the one other thing that that has really infuriated me and concerns me greatly (More for my children and grandchildren's future than mine - as I am getting along.   I  consider myself a Democrat and have voted  Democrat when I didn't have much of a real choice.  But I try to vote for who is best for the country (As opposed to hardcore Democrats or Republicans). I have voted for Ross Perot because I though he was the best candidate for president when he ran - Notice how everyone other candidate copied him when he ran - but backed out of their promises once elected.   My father is a devout Republican, so much so that he would vote for Nixon and Spiro Agnew  before voting for an Abraham Lincoln - John Kennedy Ticket.  OK - Enough of what I and my family believe.

I do not believe that we have any good candidates this year, Clinton, Obama or McCain that is any good for our country in the long run.  It seems that the choice is going to be Between Obama and McCain.  I can not and will not vote for Obama, so my choice is between McCain and not voting (which I abhor).  Regardless of what I do, I do not want Obama to win.  If you are an undecided Democrat or are only voting out of loyalty, please visit this Web Site to read about Obama and McCain - Educate yourself.  Even if you decide to vote for him then you will have made an informed decision and I congratulate you on that, even though I strongly disagree

Boring Family National Database is a Research Site and data repository for the Surname BORING. Our Primary Goal is to document all the Borings that we can find and link as many as possible. There are over 10,000 family group sheets (over 32,000 individuals) on this site, all somehow related to the Borings. There are however, many hundreds of family group sheets where we have not yet been able to link them to some "line" of the Boring Family.

Probably 95% of everyone on this site has been documented. That being said there is still that few percent of which we have no documentation and those individuals either show no parents or they are attached to a set of parents due to circumstantial evidence. Please view these family group sheets with an open mind and though I hope you find very few errors, there will be some. Please contact me with any corrections or additions.

Additionally, I have included my notes and documentation which is attached to all files. There is still much that I need to type in. If you have any documentation that you see I am missing, I would certainly appreciate a copy. Photos, Wills, Probate Records, Deeds, - - everything is welcome.
